_Institute of High Altitude Medicinal Plant(Ayush) Bhaderwah_ *District Administration Doda identifies land for Cultivation of Medicinal Plant’s and making medicinal plants and their research a USP of Doda District* _60 Kanal land earmarked for the Cultivation of Medicinal/Aromatic plant’s_

District Administration Doda under the supervision of DDC Doda  is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the availability of all the necessary Infrastructure in and around the ambitious newly sanctioned Institute of High Altitude Medicinal Plant at Bhaderwah.

 

It has been given out by the DDC that District Administration Doda is persistently working rapidly in this regard and had constituted the Joint team comprising of Floriculture and ISM department who in their report submitted and identified the land measuing 60 Kanal in Village Manwah for the cultivation of medicinal/aromatic plant’s.Given to Understand that MP and Hon’ble MoS PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh is also particular about the rapid progress of the project and development the region as a medicinal plants hub.

 

As per the report submitted by the twin departments the said land is feasible for growing medicinal and aromatic plants at Manwah and Sangoi Panchayats of Tehsil Bhaderwah,which comes under the temperate climate and has been accordingly earmarked for the medicinal and aromatic plants cultivation.

 

It is pertinent to mention here that the work on the ambitious project namely High Altitude Medicinal Plant has already been started by the executive agencies and the medicinal/aromatic cultivation will be boosted in the district further by providing the technical know how which will inturn generate the livelihood avenues for the farmer’s.
