*DDC reviews implementation of various beneficiary oriented schemes in the district* _Calls for laying of special focus on 100% coverage under all social welfare delivery schemes_

District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today chaired the meeting of key officials of different departments and reviewed the implementation of various beneficiary oriented schemes run by the concerned departments in the district here at DC office Doda.
 
During the meeting the DDC was informed by the DSWO Doda that approximately 21713 eligible beneficiaries under old age category are receiving the pensions under NSAP & ISSS,  besides 4615 widow and 9392 specially abled person’s are recieving pension benefits under different schemes.
 
DDC directed the DSWO to ensure the 100% coverage of all eligible beneficiaries under different schemes, besides asked to sanction pension infavour of pending beneficiaries for sanction within next 2 days under old age pension scheme, besides directed the concerned to write letters to all the Sarpanches today itself with regard to submission of names of leftout widows above the age of 40 so that pension shall be sanctioned in their favour if any.
 
Regarding Adhaar linkage DDC directed the DSWO to take up the matter with the lead bank manager doda on priority basis and asked to ensure 100% coverage under adhaar linkage with all beneficiaries bank accounts under the fix time frame with utmost priority.
 
While reviewing the implementation of PMMVY,the DDC directed the PO ICDS to expedite the registration process and to achieve the fixed targets during the current financial year without any fail, besides directed to mobilize their field staff for 100% achievement of the target.
 
Regarding availability of ration in the Anganwadi centres,the DDC was informed that 9939 quintal of rice recieved from the FCS& CA department has been distributed across the centre’s, besides Rs 90 lakhs approximate expenditure has been incurred till now by the PRI’s with regard to the purchase of other essential food items across the district.
 
DDC directed the concerned to submit the project wise list to the DDC Office with regard to the name of Panchayats who have not yet done any expenditure in connection of the purchase of essential food items, besides directed to ensure that the purchasing shall be completed in the upcoming days without any fail.
 
Moreover DDC while reviewing the status of scholarships, directed the CEO to handover the list of SC students in complete manner to the DSWO Office for immediate sanctioning of scholarships in favour of eligible students, besides directed to re verify the data of physically challenged students across the district so that all of them shall be accorded scholarship.
 
The meeting was attended by CPO Doda,PO ICDS Doda, DSWO Doda besides other concerned were present during the meeting.
