District Development Commissioner Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode today chaired the meeting of the designated Nodal officer’s to take first hand appraisal of the ongoing agressive testing intensified within the containment zones by the District Administration.
During the meeting the Nodal officer’s apprised the DDC about the present status of the testing in the containment zones and also discussed the important measures to ensure the 100% testing of the targetted population in all the contaminated zones.
The DDC directed the concerned to ensure that whosoever visits the OPD’s and Private clinics in connection to the flu like symptoms,the medical teams shall ensure that each and everyone shall be tested on priority basis.
Moreover the DDC Informed the Nodal officer’s of Bhaderwah that they will be provided with 1000 additional testing kits other than the 700 which are already lying at their disposal to ensure that the whole targeted population shall be tested in the upcoming 3 4 days.
Besides the DDC directed the Nodal officer’s of Doda to conduct the house numbering of all the households so that each and every targeted household coming within the Containment zones shall be tested within the weeks time.
The DDC also directed the ACR Doda to constitute the teams of 20 teachers as Oxygen Doot/Oxyegen Messenger for every containment zone in coordination with the education department so that they shall conduct door to door visit of every designated household for the routine check of oxygen of people living in those households through pulse oximeters.
He also said that In case if they will find any person having oxygen levels below 90 shall be immediately send to the hospital for oxygen support.
DDC appealed all the people especially living in the containment zones to extend full cooperation with the district administration so that the Covid transmission can be prevented and shall also reduce the death rate in the district.
The officer present in the meeting are ACR Doda,DSWO Doda,AD Food, District Epidemiologist besides ADC Bhaderwah and other Nodal officer’s from Bhaderwah attended the meeting through Video Conference.
