*DDC Reviews progress achieved under PMGSY projects* _Calls for laying special focus on achievement of set targets under time bound manner_ *Asks Ex En’s/ AEE’s to submit the daily progress reports achieved under different components*

Doda,AUGUST 24: 

District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today took a comprehensive review of the progress achieved under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) in a meeting held here at DC office Doda.

 

The Ex En’s apprised the DDC of work progress on different roads in their respective sub divisions besides informed about the total length achieved so far and future work plan.

 

The DDC also sought a detailed report of schemes yet to be completed and directed for their completion in a time-bound manner.

 

He further directed them to expedite the pace of work on all PMGSY roads for their timely completion and called for daily monitoring of the work progress, sets fresh targets for completion of works and asks submission of the progress report on a regular basis. Take all requisite measures to remove the bottlenecks to achieve the target in time, he added.

 

DDC also directed the executing agencies to expedite the progress of blacktopping on all the ongoing projects, besides directed them to ensure the quality on each project on priority basis.

 

Observing the non serious approach of some contractors in completing the project’s pertaining to them, DDC immediately passed the directions to the judicial clerk to issue the notices under rules against all the erring contractors today itself.

 

Moreover DDC also directed the concerned to mobilise all their men and machinery for the early completion of the projects, as the same is being monitored by the apex level authorities on daily basis.

 

The meeting was attended by CPO Doda, Executive Engineer PMGSY division Doda and Thathri, along with AEE’s of the respective sub divisions.
