*Newly created ICU Ward at CHC Thathri started functioning* _5 Ventilators,10 Oxygen Concentrators,2 Cardiac monitor’s placed in the ICU ward to effectively deal with Covid-19 cases_

District Administration under the supervision of DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode is leaving no stone unturned to effectively deal the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic crisis across the district.

 

In this regard,with an approach to improve the health Infrastructure in the peripheral locations on priority basis, besides to make it convenient to the health authorities to deal with the cases of Covid-19 in their respective areas,the health department Thathri acting upon the directions of DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode,set up a new ICU facility at CHC Thathri and has placed 5 ventilators,10 Oxygen Concentrators and 2 cardiac monitors to effectively deal with the Covid-19 cases at Thathri.

 

It has been given out that the newly created ICU facility at CHC Thathri has also been made functional accordingly, besides DDC has also directed the health authorities to augment the facilities at PHC Malanoo and Bhella in similar manner in the upcoming days,so that the Covid patients shall be treated in their nearest locations, which shall also reduce the load on AH GMC Doda.

 

It is pertinent to mention here that yesterday during the visit to Thathri in view of the Block Diwas celebration,the DDC inaugrated the newly established ICU facility at Thathri and dedicated to the people of Thathri.
