_B2V-3:Day 05_ *Slew of activities conducted In all the 78 panchayats, Conduct of Gram Sabhas, Distribution of Sports kits, KCC pass books, Domicile certificates, Panchayat Newsletter, Pension sanction letters, awareness program on Covid-19 and other individual benefit schemes, inaugration of New works/PMAY house’s mark the 5th day* _People are welcoming the flagship program by giving immense response_

On the 5th day of the B2V3 programme, a series of activities were conducted across 78 panchayats of 17 blocks in the district Doda with active participation of PRIs and the general public.

 

It is pertinent to mention here that the whole program is being conducted under the close supervision of DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode and all the activities are being closely monitored by the DDC on daily basis.

 

On the occasion, Visiting Officers profiled issues, grievances and demands of the people besides asked the public to identify their priority works that can be forwarded for next year district plan under various centrally/ UT sponsored schemes.

 

As per the scheduled activities the Gram sabha’s were conducted in all the designated panchayats,in which the BDC Chairperson’s alongwith PRI members and locals actively participated and highlighted their issues, besides MGNREGA and 15th FC plan was discussed and finalised for the next financial year and Awaas plus list was also read out before the Gram sabha.

 

Moreover the Panchayat Newsletters, KCC pass books, sports kits, Domicile certificates, Pension sanction letters,Soil health cards etc were distributed among the beneficiaries, awareness on Covid-19 and other individual benefit schemes was also generated by the concerned officials, besides many public institutions and ongoing works were inspected and foundation stone for new works were laid by the Visiting officer’s alongwith PRI members.

 

Besides Many Secretariat level Officers from outside the district also participated in the program in their designated panchayats which includes Angrez Singh Rana MD JKRTC,Dy DEO Reasi Zakir Hussain Wani,Umesh Sharma Deputy Secretary Home department, Himesh Manchanda CE I&FC Jammu,Sunil Kumar Additional Secretary Disaster, Relief and Rehabilitation,Shabir Ahmed Choudhary I/C CE J&K Project Organisation Mughal Road.
