On the second day of the Back to Village program phase III which is going on in the 79 panchayats in district Doda under phase Ist, recieved immense response from the locals as well as from the PRI’s,as active participation from the locals and PRI’s has been witnessed in all 79 panchayats.
DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode alongwith SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed today participated in the program in the two panchayats of the Bhaderwah block namely Sungli and Butla, wherein the DDC distributed Domicile certificates, pension payment letter’s, insurance letters, sport’s kit’s among the beneficiaries, besides unvieled the panchayat Newsletter and Coffee Table Book in the presence BDC Chairman Bhaderwah and other PRI members and locals of the panchayats.
Various issues were raised infront of the DDC by the PRI members at both the locations which includes opening of Awass plus app, to provide timber to the BPL and PMAY beneficiaries for setting roof on their houses on cheap rates basis, to augment the power Infrastructure in the areas which have large population,to start the works on stalled road projects,to provide land for bus stand at butla panchayat,bridge in Butla panchayat, to remove the rusty water pipes in some areas of the panchayat,to augment the water garvity besides various important issues were raised and DDC paid patient hearing to all the demands.
Speaking on the occasion the DDC immediately passed on the directions to the Tehsildar Bhaderwah to start the land identification process for bus stand at Butla, besides directed the Xen PWD Bhaderwah to evaluate the proposal of bridge in butla panchayat in 3 days and submit the feasibility report as the same shall be put into district plan next year.
Moreover DDC directed the Xen Bhaderwah to re tender the work on kansar Hadal road immediately, besides directed the ADC Bhaderwah to conduct the enquiry on the PHE water scheme of Butla panchayat immediately.
The DDC said that disposing of the grievances on spot and achievement of 100% saturation in all the individual benefit schemes is one of the main criteria for initiating the Back to Village program.
The DDC said that it is being seen in the last one and half year that Administration is coming at the door step of the beneficiary,rather beneficiaries are going to the Administration,and various individual benefits are being given to the beneficiaries across the district at their doorstep.
DDC congratulated the PRI members for completing the B2V-1 work’s and asked to start the new work under B2V-2 as 10 lac has been sanctioned in the account of every panchayats.
Similarly in rest of the Panchayats the Gram Sabhas were conducted,list of Awass plus, pension list, panchayat news letter were also read out in front of the locals by the visiting officer’s.
Besides sports kits were distributed among youths,,Griha Pravesh were done,blankets were handed over to the PMAY beneficiaries on Griha Pravesh, sports activities were conducted adding to this MGNREGA plan and 15 th FC plan for the next year were also discussed and accordingly finalised.
Others who remained present during the program were ADC Bhaderwah, BDC Chairman Bhaderwah, ASP Bhaderwah, besides other officials of the district administration.
