*Govt kick-starts the Online training programme of MSMEs for getting registered on GeM portal from Doda*. Industries & Commerce department being Nodal agency aiming at bringing fair competetiveness in the buying & selling process for micro, small and medium entrepreneurs.

As a measure of transparency , accountability and bringing fair competetiveness in the buying & selling process, the Govt of j&K has kick-started the online training programme regarding registration on the GeM portal for MSME units through Industries & Commerce department from twin districts of Doda & Anantnag from today. As per the details available more than 165 unit holders connected with Industries department participated in the traing process in the VC room & meeting hall of DC office doda. It has also been revealed that more than 100  unit holders are additionally connected through a link in the training programme from diffrent locations as well through online mode.

When contacted GM DIC Doda, Dr Khalid Malik on behalf of Commissioner/Secretary Industries,  Director I&C jammu and District Development Commissioner Doda highlighted the vitality of the training programme and it’s future implications for having a fair and transparent system.

It’s worthwhile to mention that besides unit holders , officers/ officials if DIC  Doda, AD HANDICRAFTS, AD HANDLOOM,CTO Doda (Commercial Tax Officer) & Zonal head JK Bank  also  participated in the online training programme.

Registration on GeM portal as seller will provide  the MSME(Micro Small Medium Entrepreneurs) a platform of   fair competitiveness which will not only ease the buying / selling process but will also make it more transparent and accountable .

 Jk bank also presented the ppt on NPAs and their resolutions ,on the other hand  Commercial Tax department awared the unit holders about the importance of GST-registration, procedures for re-imbursement & benifits of filling of returns.

Programme concluded with the pledge by the unit holders to immediately start the registration on the GeM portal for enabling the UT Government to realise the benifits of responsive & accountable system in the future .
