_Fit India Campaign_ *2 day Inter Departmental Tennis Ball Cricket tournament culminates successfully at Doda* _DC 11 lifts the title,beats SP 11 in the finals by 21 Runs_

Doda,January 29:

The 2 day inter departmental tennis ball cricket tournament organised by the District Administration Doda under the overall supervision of DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode,in coordination with District Health Society and Sports department Doda,here at Sports Stadium Doda culminated successfully.

 

It has been given out that four teams which includes DC 11,SP 11, Covid warriors and GMC 11 participated in the 2 day tournament.

 

The two teams namely DC 11 and SP 11 reached into the final after winning their league matches,in which DC 11 batting first made 78 runs and SP 11 chasing the tragets were stic to 57 runs only.

 

The DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode was the Chief Guest on the occasion and SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed was invited as Guest of Honour.

 

Speaking on the occasion the DDC congratulated players of all the teams for demonstrating great show of sportsmanship, besides asked the youth to come forward to participate in these kind of sports activities, adding to this the DDC also told the youth that district administration shall facilitate the youngsters in every possible manner.

 

Later on DDC alongwith SSP Doda handed over the trophy to the winning team also felicitated other participating players.

 

Among others present during the program are Officiating Principal GMC Doda Dr Tariq Azad,Dy Commandant IRP 5th BN P N Tikko, CMO Doda Dr Yaqoob Mir,ACD Doda Prem Singh Chib,DYSSO Doda Jaffar Haider Sheikh besides other officials of Sports department and organising committee.
