_Road Safety Month_ *DC Doda rides 40 km to promote Road Safety awareness in the district* _Urged young generation to be the ambassador of road safety,said these activities are also executed to promote the tourism of the district_

As a part of the Road Safety Month and to promote the road safety awareness in the district especially among young generation,the District Development Commissioner Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode led the grand bike rally and rides around 40 km alongwith more than 100 biker’s.

 

The massive bike rally was organised by MVD Doda in collaboration with Bhaderwah Development Authority,which was flagged off by the DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode alongwith the SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed in presence of ADDC Doda Surat Singh, CEO BDA Dr Rajinder Khajuria,ACD Doda Prem Singh Chib and ARTO Doda Kuldeep Singh.

 

The bike rally which started from Sports Stadium Doda was led by DDC Doda and culminated at Teligarh Bhaderwah covering a distance of around 35-40 km,adding to this more than 100 biker’s from Doda as well from outside district including female biker’s also participated in the awareness rally.

 

At the outset the ARTO Doda said that the main motto to organise such rallies is to sensitise the young generation about the road safety measures and also informed that majority of the victims of the road accidents are the young generation and through these awareness rallies they are being sensitised to follow all the precautionary measures while driving so that young asset of the district shall be saved.

 

Speaking on the occasion the DDC congratulated all the biker’s for participating in the awareness rally and urged them to be ambassador of the road safety so that the real objective of this program shall reach in every part of the district i.e to promote the road safety awareness.

 

The DDC while speaking said that this rally is also dedicated in remembrance of those young ones who have unfortunately lost their lives in the road accidents in the last year due to their negligence.

 

The DDC appealed all the road users especially young people to follow all the necessary precautionary measure while driving which includes wearing of helmet, seatbelt,to avoid rash driving etc.

 

The DDC also said that these activities are also directed to promote the tourism of the district and asked young generation to be a part of such activities in future also.

 

ADC Bhaderwah, CEO BDA, DY SP traffic also spoke in detail about road safety awareness and tourism promotion in the district.
