*ADC Doda Flags off group of 25 farmers for exposure visit outside UT*

DODA,FEBRUARY 22:

Four days Training cum  exposure visit of the farmers of Doda District outside the UT under Sub Mission on Agriculture Extension (SMAE) (ATMA) was today flagged off by Additional Deputy Commissioner  (ADC) Doda Kishori Lal Sharma.

 

Among others present in the program are Chief Agriculture Officer Doda Mukesh Khajuria, District Agriculture Officer (Extn) Doda Dr Rakesh Khajuria, SDAO Pranoo Kuldeep Bassan and other Officers and officials of Agriculture Department Doda and staff members.

 

In this tour a group of 25 farmers of District Doda are proceeding to Agriculture University Palampur (Himachal Pardesh) with the aim to experience the technical know-how as well as practical exposure of the Agriculture innovation being practised by the farmers of Himachal Pardesh.

 

It has been given out that in the tour programme the farmers from different locations of Doda District are participating with great enthusiasm & zeal to see & adopt the latest Agriculture Technologies being practised by the farmers of adjoining state.

 

This exposure visit will definitely boost the knowledge & practical exposure of participants regarding the advanced Agriculture practices adopted by the farmers of Himachal Pardesh & after returning from the tour, the participants will adopt the similar agriculture innovations on their farm which intern enhance will their income and social upliftment, moreover these visiting farmers will educate their fellow farmers about the latest techniques being adopted by progressive farmers of adjoining state,the ADC added.
