*DC Doda inspected Fire & Emergency Services office* _Took stock of the functioning, availability of equipments,directs officials to be on toes 24×7 to deal with any exigency_

Doda,February 06:

The Deputy Commissioner (DC),Dr Sagar D Doifode today inspected the Fire and Emergency Service office at Doda,reviewed the functioning, besides took stock of the availability of essential equipment’s and machinery.

 

During the visit,the DC inspected the necessary equipment’s which was put on display by the department including fire tenders, besides took stock of the staff strength also.

 

The DC directed the concerned to submit the detail proposal of requirements which includes new fire tenders,portable fire pumps etc that shall be accordingly communicated to the concerned quarter’s on priority basis.

 

While addressing to the newly recruits of the department the DC asked them to be always on toes round the clock to deal with any exigency if arisen anywhere, besides paid tribute to those who lost their lives last year in an accident in the service of the people.

 

Later on the officials demonstrated before the Deputy Commissioner the working and efficiency of portable fire pumps.
