District Development Commissioner Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode today chaired the meeting of the officer’s of health department to take the first hand appraisal about various national health schemes under implementation in the district.
The DDC in detail enquired about the achievements made in all the national health programmes which includes JSY,JSSK,RBSK,IDSP,UIP,RNTCP,NLEP,Aids control programme,NPCDCS,PM National Dialysis Program, Ayushman Bharat,Mera aspataal,Kayakalp program etc, besides took stock of the vaccancies under various programs.
Taking the serious note about the shortfall in institutional deliveries,the DDC directed all the BMO’s to improve the figures,and to fix the responsibility on all Asha workers to ensure that all deliveries are conducted in their nearby health institutions without any fail.
DDC also expressed satisfaction with the improvement in sex ratio which has reached to 913, besides CMO informed that the figure will improve till the March.
Regarding status of screening of Non communicable diseases which includes diabetes and blood pressure,the DDC directed the concerned to issue order to all the Sub centre’s to screen all the person’s who steps inside the sub centre without any fail.
Moreover regarding IDSP,it has been given out that the recovery rate of Covid-19 in the district is 97%,with 33 active positive patients adding to this the positivity rate has also comes down to 5%, besides CMO informed that due to the timely intervention the positive rate in Hepatitis A,B,C has also comes down reasonably across the district.
While assessing the progress under Ayushman Bharat and PM-JAY SEHAT scheme,the DDC strictly directed all the BMO’s to ensure the registration of beneficiaries as per SECC data at OPD levels, besides directed the CMO to designate BMO ghat as District Nodal Officer which shall organise the eye scree camps across the district,so that the patients with cataract problem can be operated on priority basis.
Further DDC DDC directed the concerned to upload all the required information on the Mera Aspataal portal without any delay, besides asked them to improve all the quality indicators in the health institutions so that under Kayakalp Programme district hospital shall be awarded.
DDC stated that after coming of GMC in the district,the health facilities has improved,but timely interventions are required to made the prestigious institution better functional for the well being of the general public of the district.
Among others present during the meeting are CMO Doda,MS Associated Hospital GMC Doda,Dy CMO,DHO,BMO’S, District immunisation Officer, District Epidemiologist besides other concerned officials/ coordinators of various programmes.
