*DDC visited Gandoh, reviews availability of essential services and developmental works* _Directs officer’s to remain present in their respective areas,to redress the grievances of the locals on priority_

Doda, January 06:

District Development Commissioner Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode today visited sub division Gandoh,to take the stock of restoration process, availability of essential services, besides reviewed the status of ongoing development projects in the sub division.

 

The SDM apprised the DDC that the restoration process on various roads have been completed and roads are through for the vehicular movements, besides informed that there is no shortage of essential commodities in the sub division.

 

While reviewing the progress of the ongoing PMGSY roads,the DDC directed the Ex En concerned to remove the bottlenecks on Kharangal-Chowri road, besides asked him to complete the patch work on Dedkai road on priority basis, causing the inconvenience to the locals of the respective area.

 

The DDC also directed the officers/officials of PDD to ensure that there shall be immediate restoration of power,in case of any fault, besides asked them to keep their men and machinery on toes 24*7 and directed them to ensure that there shall be no unscheduled power cuts.

 

Further the DDC directed the key Officers/officials of the sub divisional adminstration to remain available in their respective areas,so that the grievances of the locals shall be redressed without any delay especially during the ongoing winter season. 

 

The meeting was attended by SDM Gandoh Dr Pritam Lal Thapa, Tehsildar Gandoh Irshad Ahmed Sheikh,Ex En PMGSY Thathri,Ex En PWD Spl Sub division Gandoh M K Vikram, BDO’s,AEE PDD, besides other officers of the sub division.
