*Doda Administration gears up for launch of PMJAY SEHAT scheme with fervour in the district* _DDC Doda reviews preparations,directs concerned to ensure wide and aggressive publicity about the scheme_

Doda, December 24:

District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today chaired a meeting of the Task Force Committee to review the arrangements being put in place for the launch of ‘Social Endeavour for Health and Telemedicine (SEHAT) scheme in the district.

 

Pertinent to mention,the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the ‘SEHAT’ a health cover scheme in J&K on December 26 through virtual mode.The scheme aims to cover all the remaining population not covered under Ayushman Bharat scheme.

 

The DDC was apprised that main function will held at Town hall of MC Doda, besides DDC directed that similar function shall also be organised at block levels.

 

The DDC directed the concerned to ensure internet connectivity at venue where the main program is going to be organised.He also directed the concerned to ensure that all the arrangements are in place at venue well before the commencement of the actual program.

 

Speaking during the meeting,the DDC said the general public needs to be made aware about the benefits of the scheme and asked the concerned to launch aggressive public awareness campaigns across the district so that all the left out beneficiaries shall be enrolled under the health scheme.

 

The meeting was attended by CMO Doda Dr Yaqoob Mir, Dy Registrar Cooperatives Adil Iqbal Lone,Treasury Officer Bhaderwah Sameer Ul Rehman, TO PHE department Fayaz Mehta,DIO NIC, District Epidemiologist Umar Anayat khan,BMEO Ghat Mashhood Zargar,DMC NHM Faizan Tramboo.
