*Doda Administration receives 1st batch of Covishield vaccine with great enthusiasm* _DDC calls vaccine a historic moment,a sigh of relief for the people_

District Doda yesterday received the first batch of Covid-19 vaccine(Covishield) from J&K Govt health department with great enthusiasm.
It has been given out that as many as 1950 doses of Covishield vaccine have been received by the District in first batch.
The vaccine is being stored at the District cold chain from where it will be distributed to the GMC Doda and CHC Bhaderwah where vaccination is going to be conducted tommorrow.
DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode alongwith ASP Doda Master Popsy,CMO Doda Dr Yaqoob Mir,MS Associated Hospital GMC Doda, BMO Ghat, District Immunization Officer, District Epidemiologist, recieved the vaccine at Ganpat bridge with great enthusiasm.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode has said that the much awaited Covishield vaccine has finally arrived at Doda,which is a historic moment and sigh of relief for the people of the district.
DDC said after the long fight of almost 10 months,the moment has come when the vaccination will be carried out for the first time in the district on 16th of January at the already designated locations.
The vaccination drive will start from 16th of January, 2021 in the district,in which the healthcare workers will be vaccinated in phase first
