*Social Welfare department holds painting cum debate competition at GHSS Trown under “Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan”* _Urges youth to come at the forefront to eradicate the menace of drugs completely from the society_

The social welfare department Doda on the directions of DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode and under the supervision of DSWO Doda Zubair Ahmed Lone organised a painting cum debate competition at Government Hr Sec School Trown under “Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan”.

 

During the program scores of students of the respective institution participated, besides PRI members and large gathering of locals were also witnessed in the program.

 

The speakers highlighted the harmful effects of drugs and motivated the students to stay away from these substances.They have been informed that the main aim of organizing such events is to spread awareness among the students and prevent the young generation from indulging in drug addiction.

 

“It starts merely as amusement but ends up becoming an addiction and the young generation are largely the most affected section with this and which needs to be eradicated completely from the society”the speakers added.

 

Meanwhile scores of students also spoke on drug addiction in length and breadth, besides put efforts to colour down the idea’s about drug meance on drawing papers.

 

The best three painters and debaters were felicitated with momento’s, besides consolation prizes were also given to the participants.

 

Among others present in the program were Principal Govt Hr Sec School Trown Tanveer Ahmed Wani, Sarpanch Trown Riaz Ahmed Zargar,TSWO Doda Babu Ram besides other officials of concerned school and department.
