Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today chaired the marathon meeting of the key officials of the line departments to review the progress of key programmes and projects ongoing under Languishing and District Capex.

 

During the meeting the DC  reviewed in detail the sector and scheme wise progress achieved by  various departments, besides took stock of the targets set for timely completion under various programs and schemes, adding to this also took appraisal of the ongoing major developmental projects under implementation in the district.

 

The DC further discussed in detail the progress of the line departments as per the already devised monthly monitoring formats, besides took stock of the bottlenecks impending the developmental process if any in the district.

 

The DC directed all the departments to maintain the quality and pace of all ongoing developmental works for their timely completion, besides asked the planning section to submit the list of all the major developmental projects above 100 crores identified or ongoing in the district.

 

The DC also directed the SE PWD to conduct the safety audit of all the primary and middle schools of the district, besides directed the Fire and emergency department to conduct the fire and safety audit of all the Govt buildings across the district.

 

The DC informed all the concerned to expedite the progress in all individual benefit schemes which includes Ayushman Bharat  PM-JAY SEHAT scheme, PMMVY, JSY, MGNREGA, besides stressed upon them to complete all the CSS and projects under languishing scheme.

 

The DC impressed upon all the departments to conduct proper ground level excercise before proposing any work in the near future, so that the work proposed in any sector shall be completed in time, adding to this asked them to remain present in their respective jurisdictions and well versed with the functioning of their departments.
