*DDC Doda reviews progress of Covid vaccination and testing in the district* _30 vaccination sites have been identified across the district to intensify vaccination drive_ *Call for strict implementation of Covid-19 protocols and SOPs,directs BMOs to expedite the testing*

District Development Commissioner Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode today chaired the meeting of all concerned stakeholders and reviewed the progress of Covid vaccination and testing, besides implementation of Covid-19 protocols in the district.
The DDC speaking on the occasion informed that district is about to kick-start the vaccination drive at macro level and has identified 30 vaccination sites across the district.
The DDC said that on these 30 vaccination sites a team of five officials for each site has been constituted which includes Asha workers, Anganwadi workers, security official, health officials and Data entry operator to carry out the vaccination of Persons living in their respective areas above 60 years and above 45-59 years person with comorbidity.
The DDC strictly directed the Asha coordinators to supervise the vaccination at each site, besides directed them to achieve the targets already set by the administraion without any fail.
The DDC directed the concerned officials to give the slips to the person who will be vaccinated in these vaccination sites highlighting the date of second dose and directed the DEOs to ensure that data is being maintained on daily basis offline as well as online on the registered sites.
Further the DDC directed the BMOs to daily monitor the progress of vaccination and directed to ensure that daily report is being filled on the Google sheet which has been already devised.
Adding to this the DDC directed all the Asha coordinators/workers to start door to door visit in their respective areas and to ensure vaccination of all the people above 60 years and person above 45-60 with comorbidity on priority basis.
While reviewing the testing the DDC directed the SDMs and BMOs to expedite the testing in their jurisdictions, besides directed them to ensure strict implementation of Covid-19 protocols which includes wearing of face mask, social distancing etc.
The DDC also directed all the SDMs and PO ICDS to ensure that all their staff shall be vaccinated in the upcoming days otherwise strict action shall be initiated against the erring official, besides directed them to call the meeting of all PRI members and briefed them about the importance of vaccination in breaking the chain.
The DDC also directed the ZEOs to ensure that all the Covid-19 safety measures being implemented in the schools which includes frequent hand washing, social distancing, wearing of face masks by the students, besides asked them to ensure random sampling of the students of elder age groups.
The DDC directed all the stakeholders to ensure co-ordinated efforts and readiness in advance to deal with the outbreak, besides asked them to conduct awareness programs to avoid the break of Covid virus across the district.
Among others present during the meeting are ADC Doda, ADC Bhaderwah, ASP Doda, SDMs, PO ICDS,CMO Doda, besides District Officers, Tehsildars, ZEO’s and officials from health and police department.
