*Social Welfare department holds painting cum awareness program at Ex Servicemen Hr Sec School Thathri under “Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan”* _Urges youth to come at the forefront to eradicate the menace of drugs completely from the society_

The Social Welfare department Doda under the supervision of DSWO Doda Zubair Ahmed Lone organised a painting cum cum awareness program at Ex Servicemen Hr Sec School Thathri under “Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan”.

 

During the program scores of students of the respective institution participated in the painting competition, besides awareness regarding drug menace were also imparted before the students in length and breadth by the speakers.

 

The speakers highlighted the harmful effects of drugs and motivated the students to stay away from these substances.They have been informed that the main aim of organizing such events is to spread awareness among the students and prevent the young generation from indulging in drug addiction.

 

“It starts merely as amusement but ends up becoming an addiction and the young generation are largely the most affected section with this and which needs to be eradicated completely from the society”the speakers added.

 

Meanwhile scores of students also spoke on drug addiction in length and breadth, besides put efforts to colour down the idea’s about drug meance on drawing papers.

 

The best three painters were felicitated with momento’s by the Chief Guest on the occasion.

 

Among others present in the program were Principal Ex Servicemen Hr Sec School, besides other officials of concerned school and department.
