*SWD Doda holds awareness programs on Nasha Mukht Bharat at various educational institutions of Thathri Sub division* _Urged students and teachers to constitute combine Committees to report drug menace in their areas_

Doda,March 18:

Social Welfare Department are organising series of awareness programs under Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan across the district to generate mass awareness about the hazardous effects of drug menace among the young generation especially.

 

The awareness program were conducted in various educational institutions of Thathri sub division today which includes Govt Girls Hr Sec School Thathri,Govt Boy’s Hr Sec School Thathri, and Govt High School Barshala.

 

During the program various speakers in threadbare manner spoke about the drug menace and how it is affecting the future generation of the country.

 

The officials urged the students and teachers to constitute combine Committees in their schools who shall report the drug abuse cases if any in their respective areas to the concerned authorities for immediate action.

 

The entire program was conducted under the supervision of DSWO Doda Zubair Ahmed Lone, besides the department also provided the refreshments to the students during the program.

 

Among others present during the program are Principal Govt Girl’s Hr Sec School Thathri Bikram Singh,TSWO Touseef Zargar, besides other officials from school and department.
