ADC Bhadarwah reviews COVID-19 control measures

BHADARWAH, APRIL 19: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bhadarwah, Rakesh Kumar, today chaired a meeting to take stock of the situation arising due to sudden rise of COVID-19 cases in the district.

At the outset, the ADC gave a detailed briefing of the present scenario of cases reported during the 2nd wave and the measures taken to contain its spread and the status of vaccination in the sub- district Bhadarwah.

In view of the alarming situation, Additional Deputy Commissioner stressed upon the Health Department and other stakeholders to closely monitor the cases and take all the necessary steps to mitigate its effects. He directed concerned to identify all those with COVID-19 related Symptoms with special thrust on the population above 60 yrs of age through SAWASTYA NIDHI DATA and to carry out an extensive survey through Asha/Anganwari workers to vaccinate these Vulnerable groups. He also laid stress on the need to involve PRIs, Local Bodies representatives and religious leaders to spread Carona awareness among the general masses.

He directed the officers of various departments to get the employees working under their control tested for COVID-19 and also vaccinated at an earliest.

He further directed the concerned to make sure that no shopkeeper allows gathering of customers and makes use of masks and senitizers compulsory. The police officers are directed to keep a check on overloading of vehicles using nakkas at various points. Allotted number of passengers be allowed and no standing customer be allowed.        

The meeting was attended by BMO Bhadarwah, EO M.C, AE PDD, AEE PMGSY, TSWO and officers / officials and representatives of other departments.
