*ADC Doda reviews working of Sub Division level committees constituted to gear up inoculation of COVID vaccine to persons above 45 years* _Directs to expedite the RTPCR testing vis a vis sampling, calls to achieve 100% vaccination target of FLWs especially PRIs at an earliest_

Acting upon the directions of DC Doda, Vikas Sharma,  ADC Doda Kishori Lal Sharma today chaired the meeting of key officers of Sub Division level committee constituted to gear up the inoculation of Covid vaccine to persons above 45 years across the district.

 

During the meeting the ADC Doda hold threadbare discussion on sample collection, status of RTPCR testing, augmentation of bedding capacity in health institutions, readiness with regard to re-establishment of quarantine centres etc.

 

While reviewing the progress on vaccination of frontline workers which also includes PRI members, the ADC directed the concerned to achieve the target of 100% at an earliest.

 

The ADC also directed the concerned to sensitise the PRI members about the benefits of vaccination and shall make them aware about the rumour mongering in a scientific manner, as they are holding the key position at the grassroot level and are the main bridge between locals and district administration.

 

Besides the ADC directed the officers and health staff to chalk out the plan by keeping the sufficient stock in the cold chain sites, so that there shall be hassle free vaccination of all the frontline workers.

 

With regard to testing the ADC directed the concerned to expedite the RTPCR testing by augmenting the sufficient man power in the laboratory and must go beyond the targets set by the higher authorities so that spread can be detected at an earliest by identifying the positive patients.

 

Further the ADC directed all the Nodal Officers to be in readiness mode with their men and material so that the qurantine Centres shall be re-established in swift manner when required, besides asked the CMO Doda to augment the bedding capacity as per the space available in the health institutions to deal with the symptomatic covid patients.

 

Moreover the ADC directed the concerned to place in the past mechanism of surveillance so that the positive patients  put up in home isolation shall be strictly monitored on daily basis.

 

The ADC Doda while pointing out at the surge of covid cases in the district directed all the concerned to make coordinated efforts to deal with this situation in effective manner by implementing all the directions at grassroot level in letter and spirit.

 

The meeting was attended by ADC Bhaderwah, ACD Doda, ACR Doda, SDM Assar, CMO Doda, SDM Thathri, Dy CMO Doda, Tehsildar Doda, Dy Registrar Cooperatives, Treasury officer Bhaderwah, District immunization Officer, besides other concerned officials.
