*Dr Raghav Langer met scores of deputations at Doda, listened to their grievances* _Assured early redressal of their grievances, Directs local authorities to ensure proactive approach for time bound redressal of the grievances of the general public_

On the first day of his visit to Doda, he met scores of deputations here at Dak bungalow Doda and paid patient hearing to the grievances highlighted by them.

 

The deputations which met the Divisional Commissioner includes the DDC members including DDC Chairperson & Vice Chairperson,  BDC Chairpersons, Sarpanches, Representatives of ULB Doda, Chenab Rescuers, and  Contractors Association.

 

The major issues which were highlighted includes measures for traffic decongestion, multi-storie parking at Bus stand Doda, staff placement and vehicles for DDC Chairperson, Vice Chairperson and members, removal of illegal encroachment from sports stadium Doda , transfer of overstayed employees in RDD, defunct hand pumps to be made functional, purchase of computers and furniture for BDC offices, vehicles for BDCs, Paryote fruit  mandi to be made functional, repair of Bharat Road, sanctioning of JK bank branch at Dali Udhyanpur, filling of vacant post of Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars, Shortage of Doctors in PHCs and sub centres, rationalisation of teachers, up-gradation of High School Hanch to Hr Sec, allopathic dispensary for Rotipadrana, equipments and safety gadgets for Chenab Rescuers, revalidation of funds of contractors which were not drawn from treasury on 31st March due to technical issues etc.

 

The Div Com gave patient hearing and ensured them that their genuine issues shall be addressed on priority. He directed the concerned local administration to come up with viable proposals for early redressal of the issues.

 

Earlier the Div Com also called upon DC, SSP, Principal GMC Doda, SE PWD and CMO Doda, reviewed security and law & order situation, progress of ongoing work at GMC Doda and major issues encounterd by GMC authorities, status of other ongoing Mega Projects and COVID-19  and over all health care scenario of District Doda.
