*DC Doda discusses work wise plan of Capex Budget 2021-22 of various Line departments* _Directs to formulate and execute the plans in scientific and rational manner, providing maximum benefits to the larger populace at grassroot level_ *Stressed on Judicious use of allocated funds and to ensure physical progress/outcome under fixed timelines*

To discuss the work wise plan formulated under District Capex Budget 2021-2022, Deputy Commissioner, Doda Vikas Sharma today convened series of meeting of District officers of various Line departments here at Conference hall of DC Office Complex Doda and reviewed the plans formulated.

 

CPO Doda, SE PWD, SE Hydraulics,JD Education, ACD Doda, CMO Doda besides other District officers, and XEns were also present in the meeting.

 

During the series of the day-long meetings, the Deputy Commissioner discussed the various projects to be undertaken by PWD, PHE, Irrigation, Health, Education,RDD department and discussed the financial implication  in the upgradation of the varied infrastructure in the district pertaining to their respective sectors during the current financial year, besides reviewed the status of ongoing schemes and expenditure incurred and status of tendering and unutilised funds.

 

Laying special stress on the road connectivity, water connectivity of leftout habitations, construction and upgradation of buildings of education and health department,he directed the concerned officers to project routine work without any encumbrances in the budget for the FY 2021-22 that can be completed in the stipulated time, besides asked for framing plans in consultation with concerned BDCs, PRIs.

 

He stressed all officers to start the works after getting proper TS, AA and after the completion of other Codal formalities and in case of any hindrances take up the matter to their concerned higher ups for immediate resolution  of impediments.

 

He asked all the district officers to work in tandem for smooth and effective completion of Developmental works besides asked to work in coordinated manner  to avoid the overlapping of the works in their respective jurisdiction.

 

Meanwhile, he instructed officers to utilize available funds under the Capex Budget and other capital heads as per the fixed timelines to avoid the lapse of funds.

 

He directed the Irrigation and PHE department to take up the works keeping in view the potential of the scheme providing maximum benefits to the  larger populace at grassroot level, besides asked them to identify the source which can be functional throughout the season so that the spirit behind taking the works shall be ensured.

 

The DC stressed to take up only those works that can be completed during the current financial year on priority basis, besides asked to lay main thurst on the outcome of the projects to be taken up.
