*ADDC chaired meeting on shifting of utilities for timely completion of 13 held up roads under PMGSY in district Doda.*

Doda, June 11, Under the directions of District Development Commissioner Doda, Vikas Sharma, Additional District Development Commissioner Doda Mohammad Hanief Malik chaired a meeting of the concerned departments for early shifting of utilities from the ongoing roads of PMGSY in phase I & II.
It was given out that 13 roads are held up in the district which are scheduled to be Completed by March 2022 under PMGSY phase I & II. For shifting of pipelines by Jal Shakti Department, electric poles and wires by PDD Department and shifting of irrigation Kouls by I&FC Department, 50% funds have already been released to the concerned authorities.
These roads include NH244 Assar to Chill, Thathri to Kathawa, Thalela to Jagota, Halaran to Jura Khurd, Thathri to Barshalla, Bhargi to Kunan, Bhargran to Behota, Bhara to Mandir Mohalla Godha, Chill to Dhandal, and Gungalwar to Sarsi part II.
Authorities of Jal Shakti, Irrigation and PDD were directed to speed up the shifting by floating tenders and starting work within one month. He directed to take temporary measures and keep the men & machinery on job so that water supply, electricity and irrigation water is not disrupted which can cause public agony and discomfort, while the road construction work shall also be continued for timely completion. He urged the officers of all the four main departments (PMGSY, PDD, Jal Shakti and I&FC) involved to work in coordination with each other and monitor/ address personally the issues likely to hamper the supply of essential utilities and timely completion of aforesaid PMGSY roads.
