*Poshan Abhiyan: DDC Doda chaired the meet of District Convergence Committee to finalize the plan*

Doda, June 24:

District Development Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today chaired a meeting of all concerned officers here in the DC office complex,and approved the District Convergence plan under POSHAN ABHIYAN.

 

The meeting was attended by ADC Doda, CPO Doda, PO ICDS Doda, DSWO Doda, CMO Doda, CEO Doda, representatives of Xen PHE Doda,DIO Doda and CDPO Gandoh.

 

At the outset Program Officer ICDS Doda Shahida Parveen briefed the meeting about the different quarters that are important for the formulation of Convergence Plan under POSHAN ABHIYAN.

 

During the meeting DDC urged the heads of concerned departments to work  in a tandem and asked for pooling their efforts under a convergence plan so that an integrated approach could be carved out for  achieving the tangible results under the POSHAN ABHIYAN.

 

Moreover the DDC also directed to complete the survey of malnurished and stunted children through dedicated app ‘Poshan Tracker’ at an earliest. 

 

Regarding providing of the supply of water in all the  government Anganwadi centres, the DDC directed the Jal Shakti and ICDS deptt. to come up with precise plan so that all the AWCs could get safe drinking water. Also ICDS and RDD officers were directed to draft the convergence plan and get it approved for construction of toilet facilities in the government Anganwadi buildings.
