*DC Doda holds interactive session with BDC Chairpersons,DDC members, listened to their issues pertaining to various sectors of their respective areas* _Directs Officers of line departments to maintain coordination with the PRI members for proactive and prompt redressal of grievances of general public of their areas_

Doda, July 27:

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Vikas Sharma today held a interactive session of BDC Chairpersons and DDC members form various areas of the district at Conference Hall of DC office Doda, wherein the officers/Officials of various line departments also participated and listened the issues with regard to basic amenities the general public of the elected representatives present in the meeting are facing on daily basis.

 

During the meeting various grievances of general public importance were highlighted by the BDC Chairperson’s and DDC members which includes augmentation of existing water supply schemes in far off places, upgradation of existing infrastructure of PDD department, filling up of vaccant posts of BDO’S and Tehsildars,to ensure availability of staff in the schools as well as in health institutions, timely completion of ongoing works with special reference of PMGSY,PHE and PWD departments,to resolve the bottleneck of developmental projects immediately for timely completion, payment of pending land compensation, execution of works as per the devised DPR,to expedite the purchase of ambulances by or before the 1st September,to curb the practice of additional charge, besides other various important issues were highlighted regarding which immediate directions were passed by the DC to the concerned authorities for immediate redressal.

 

Regarding construction of 3km road at Topneel the Ex En PWD informed the DC that the proposal has been submitted alongwith thr other new road projects to NABARD and approval is still pending as the Nodal agency doesn’t entertain any land compensation criteria.

 

The DC asked the concerned BDC Chairpersons to submit the resolution to the PWD department that land compensation is not required so that they shall further submit the concerned Nodal agency and these news road works shall get started on priority basis.

 

Moreover the DC directed the PWD department to start all the other held up works by resolving all the bottleneck within Seven days and action taken report in this regard shall also be submitted to the DC office positively.

 

With regard to the non performance of Shalaka Infra Tech in covering all the leftover hamlets in the rural areas,the DC informed the participants that they have been pulled up for their non serious approach and asked the ACD to organise a tour of Gai Dessa so that ground situation shall be assessed and accordingly action will be taken against the erring agency.

 

The DC also directed the Ex En PHE department Doda to give wide publicity of the works which have been taken up under restoration, repair notifying the areas also so that people shall come to know what has been left out and accordingly the left out shall also be taken on priority basis.

 

The Ex En PDD has been asked to submit the detail estimates of the works taken under augmentation of teh existing infrastructure so that it shall be assessed if their is any irregularities while making the estimate keeping in view the rates available in tbe market also.

 

Regarding payment of pending installments of PMAY house’s the ACD informed that the order sheets have been generated by the BDO’s, besides funds are not available in the central pool and as soon as the funds shall be made available tge payments will be done, adding to this while reviewing the issue of installation of VSAT in the panchayat ghars the DC directed the planning section to schedule a meeting with BSNL department so that the actual position shall be assessed and accordingly they shall be asked to made them functional for the proper functioning of panchayats.

 

The DC assured the PRI members that their issues shall be addressed on priority basis, besides asked the officers/Officials of line department’s to maintain a healthy coordination with the PRI members for the proactive redressal of the issues of the general public of their respective areas.

 

The meeting was attended by BDC Chairpersons,DDC members, CPO Doda,ACD Doda, DIO Doda,Ex En PHE,PWD,PDD,AD Planning DC office, besides other officials were also present.
