*DC Doda suspended three official of RDD on charges of fraudulent payment*

Doda, July 20:

 

Taking serious note of the misuse  of official position and commitment towards zero tolerance on corruption in the district, DC Doda suspended three officials of RDD on charges of fraudulent payment of un executed work, with immediate effect.

 

The order issued by the DC Doda reads that, 

a complaint regarding fraudulent payments on account of un-executed works in Panchayat

Moothi-A of Block Marmat was received and was marked to Assistant Commissioner Development Dada on 30-04-2021 for enquiry with the directions to submit the report within 15 days.

 

 A report on the complaint has been received through Block Development Officer

Marmat vide his No: BD0/M compV2021-22/520 Dated: 20-07-2021;

On the perusal of contents of the report received from BDO Marmat it is primafacie established that misappropriation of funds and gross irregularities have been committed in panchavat Moothi-A.

 

 Addl. District Dev. Commissioner Doda and Asstt- Commissioner Panchayat Doda shall conduct the detailed enquiry with recommendations also citing the role of Sarpanch, Secretary Panchayat, Junior Engineer, , GRS & others within 15 days. 

 

In the meanwhile one JE one MPW and one GRS of the said Panchayat have been placed under suspension with immediate effect till further orders.

The order further reads that the suspended officials shall remain attached in the office of the District Panchayat Officer Doda.

 

DC has warned all the erring officers and officials serving in the district that any deviation in public services shall not be tolerated and be dealt with iron hand so that the efforts of the government for public amenity shall reach to real beneficiaries.
