_Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav_ *SWD Organises Painting competition,Games & Cleanliness Drive on the theme “INDIAN FREEDOM STRUGGLE” at Nari Niketan Doda*

As a part of celebrations of “AZADI KA AMRUT MAHOTSAV”, District Social Welfare department under the supervision of DSWO Zubair Ahmed Lone organized a Painting competition on the theme “Indian Freedom Struggle” which was participated by the inmates of Nari Niketan Doda with utmost enthusiasm and determination.
TSWO Touseef Zargar, Superintendent Nari Niketan along with other staff members and inmates also held a cleanliness drive under the Swatchta Pakhwada and cleaned the entire campus.
Event of Games like Carrom board, chess, skipping rope and kho kho were also played. The inmates were also highlighted about the India’s struggle for independence.
It has been given out by the officials that the objective of organizing the event was to inculcate a sense of patriotism and the value of Independence among the students.
