_Azadi ka Amrut Mohatsav_ *Social Welfare Department Doda alongwith ALIMCO holds special camp for distribution of assistive aid at Thathri among Specially abled persons*

Doda,August 23:

As a part of the ongoing Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav,the Social Welfare department Doda in collaboration with ALIMCO held a distribution camp at Thathri sub division for special abled persons in order to distribute assistive aid under the overall supervision of DSWO Doda Zubair Ahmed Lone.

 

During the distribution program the Prosthetic aid which was distributed among the 37 specially abled beneficiaries includes crutches, wheelchairs,hearing aid,CP chairs,Smart Cane, Artificial limbs etc.

 

The Chief Guest on the occasion were DDC member Thathri alongwith President MC Thathri, who both appreciated the persistence efforts of the department as well as of ALIMCO for extending handholding on time to time basis to the concerned beneficiaries living in the far off places of the sub division.

 

Among others present are TSWO Thathri, PRI members, Representatives of ALIMCO, besides prominent citizens of the area.
