*Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav* _Sham-e-Gazal, organised by JK Academy of Art, culture & Languages and Information departments held at Town Hall Doda_

Doda, August 15; As a part of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, JK Academy of Art, culture & Languages and Information departments Doda, organised Sham-e-Gazal on the eve of I-Day celebrations India@75 here in Town Hall Doda.

 

Local artists performed in the said programme with huge audience enjoying musical fest. Hindi, Kashmiri, Dogri and Bhaderwahi songs kept the audience spellbound.

 

DDC Doda, Vikas Sharma, ACD Doda Idrees Lone, CPO Doda Parshotam Kumar, DIO Doda Mohammad Ashraf Wani, President MC Doda Ved Prakash Gupta and other officers & officials also enjoyed the event. 

 

Speaking on the occasion DDC said that he was fascinated by the rich cultural display by local artists. He asks Art, Culture and Languages department to make a record of all the local artists so that they can be promoted at UT level and further at national level. He further said that he is sure that our artists can prove their worth at any forum.
