Chairman DDC Doda reviewed District Capex with District Development Councillors and BDC Chairpersons alongwith Line departments

Doda, August 11, District Development Council Chairman Dhananter Singh chaired a meeting with Block Development Council Chairpersons, District Development Councilors and officers of line departments here in Conference Hall of DC office Doda in two separate meetings to discuss the progress on Capex budget 2021-22.

 

The meeting was also attended by ADDC Doda, SE PWD Doda, SE PDD Kishtwar, CPO, ACD, ACP, CMO CAO, BDOs, ExEns, CHO,  CAHO, DSWO, ALC and other officials of line departments.

 

In meeting the physical and financial progress on Capex budget was reviewed in detail and chair directed the executing agencies to speed up the process of tendering and execution where works have been alloted so that task can be completed  timely.

 

Further the district officers of major departments gave brief sketch of the schemes run the department in the district with present number of beneficiaries and other issues which need to be brought into notice of higher authorities for smooth running of schemes.

 

Also, some works were suggested for corrigendum in the council. It was decided that this matter shall be taken up with finance department.

Besides, issues of general public were also raised in the district Development Council meeting on which Chairman gave direction to officers concerned for on the spot resolution of public grievances.
