*DC Doda reviews arrangements, inspected preparedness for upcoming Independence Day Celebrations at Sports Stadium Doda* _Directs concerned teams to work in coordination for smooth conduct of the National event_

For the smooth conduct of the National event i.e the Independence Day celebrations which is going to be held tommorrow at Sports Stadium Doda, the Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today visited the venue site to review the arrangements put in place by various departments.

 

During the inspection the DC reviews the minute to minute program, decoration of the venue, seating arrangements for guests as well as invitees, security arrangements, installation of public address system, illumination of the venue, display of tableaus, besides other important things which are required for the conduct of the successful event.

 

The DC directed the concerned to ensure that all the activities which are scheduled for tommorrow shall be organised as per the set protocol, besides asked them to put in place all the necessary arrangements well in advance at the venue, so that there shall be no obstruction of any kind during the display of the various activities.

 

The DC asked all the officers of the civil and police department to work in coordination so that smooth and beautiful display as well as the sanctity of the national event shall be ensured, in addition to this inconvenience to the general public shall also be avoided on priority basis.

 

Among others present during the inspection are SP Bhaderwah, ADC Doda, SP Doda, ACR Doda, Tehsildar Doda, CEO Doda,CMO Doda,DIO Doda, Ex En PWD, PDD, PHE, DYSSO Doda, Dy SP DAR, Dy SP Headquarters, EO MC Doda, besides other officers/Officials of civil and police department.

 

Earlier, the DC chaired the meeting of key officers of various line departments to review the compliance of the directions for the operationalisation of the vaccant school buildings.

 

The DC directed all the concerned that all the handed over buildings shall be made operational by or before today evening, besides asked the DYSSO Doda to ensure that at the already mentioned 05 location’s the members of the Youth Clubs shall hoist the National Flag ceremony without any fail tommorrow.
