Doda, July 31:
Deputy Commissioner Doda,Vikas Sharma today chaired the meeting of key officials of Revenue department here at Conference Hall of DC office, to take the first hand appraisal of the progress on digitisation of land records ongoing in the district, besides reviewed the implementation of decision with regard to constitution of Youth Clubs in all Panchayats of the district and other issues.
The DC directed the contracting agency to engage surplus manpower to complete the process of digitisation including quality check in tripple shifts, besides asked the Nodal officers to monitor the progress on daily basis.
Moreover the DC directed the SDMs and Tehsildars to submit the actual status of digitisation Tehsil wise as per the devised format, besides directed the contracting agency to mobilise extra machine for early completion.
With regard to formation of Youth Clubs under Mission Youth,it has been apprised the DC that in majority of the panchayats these have been formulated as per the set guidelines and at some places process is ongoing, for which the DC directed to complete the process before 2nd of August on priority basis.
Moreover the DC directed the ADCs and SDMs to identify the persons who are outstanding in their respective fields like literature, art, etc, besides asked to identify the Persons in their respective jurisdictions who are decorated Martyrs, Freedom fighters so that they shall be felicitated.
The DC informed the meeting that the apex level authorities are keenly reviewing the progress on daily basis on the aforementioned sectors which have to the completed on war footing basis without any delay.
The meeting was attended by ADC Doda, ADC Bhaderwah, All SDMs and Tehsildars, besides other concerned officials were also present.
