*DDC Doda tours Bhagwah Tehsil holds public outreach camp, meet PRI members, listened to their issues* _Suspends two RDD Officials for misappropriation and embezzlement of funds_ *Xen Project wing and Shalaka Company directed to camp at Ghai-Dessa and complete electrification project*

As a part of the ongoing public outreach campaign, the DDC Doda Vikas Sharma, today held extensive tour of Bhagwah Tehsil wherein the DDC interacted with PRI members, listened to the issues pertaining to their area, besides reviewed implementation of developmental schemes.

 

During the redressal camp various issues were highlighted by the public representatives being faced by the local  inhabitants on daily basis causing  inconvenience to them which includes poor mobile and internet network, blacktopping on the stretch from main road to Bhagwah, formation of SHGs under NRLM, requirement of ambulance at Bhagwah headquarters, to start the construction of tehsil building, to conduct desilting and cleaning of water reservoirs, to expedite the electrification of leftout households especially of the far off places, to start RTC services, removal of wooden rotten electric poles, ATM facility at headquarter etc.

 

Taking strong cognisance of the complaint with regard to payment being done by the RDD Officials without execution of work on ground level, the DDC placed the then secretary panchayat and a technical assistant under suspension and has directed the ACD to conduct a detail enquiry and submit the report within 15 days to the DC office.

 

With regard to construction of new building for Tehsil office, the DDC directed the Tehsildar to finalise suitable location, besides executing agencies informed the DDC that detailed project report has already been submitted to the higher authorities.

 

While assessing the performance of Jal Shakti department the DDC directed the concerned to conduct the desilting and cleaning of all the reservoirs, adding to this asked to start the construction of new reservoirs under District capex, besides directed the BDO to display the DPR of all JJM projects at all public places including Panchayat ghars across the block.

 

With regard to expedite the poor performance shown by the Project Wing and Shalaka Infra Tech, the DDC directed them to be stationed for ten days at Gai Dessa so that all the issues shall be resolved and progress of electrification shall be expedited, besides asked the local representatives to ensure proper coordination with the department to reolve all the grievances in coordination with the public.

 

Meanwhile the DDC has also sought the feedback with regard to the functioning of other line departments which includes food, agriculture, horticulture, irrigation department etc and has asked the public representatives to ensure that all the officials shall remain present in the offices for the general public.

 

Later on the DDC inspected the ZEO office, PHC Bhagwah, CDPO Office, Tehsildar office, JK bank branch etc and reviewed the staff position and daily functioning.

 

The DDC has directed the Tehsildar to ensure that all the officers/Officials having additional charge shall sit at one of the location for at least 3 days in a week and to ensure that the days shall be notified for the general public information, besides asked the health officials to expedite the vaccination in the area.

 

Among others accompanied the DDC during the visit are BDC Chairperson Bhagwah, DDC member Bhagwah, CPO Doda, Tehsildar Bhagwah, BDO Bhagwah, Ex En PDD, Ex En Project Wing, besides other concerned officials of various line departments.
