*DDC Doda visited famous tourist spots Jai Valley and Paddri of Bhadarwah, assessed the facilities for tourists.*

Bhadarwah, August 4: District Development Commissioner Doda, Vikas Sharma today visited famous tourist spots Jai Valley and Paddri in Bhadarwah to review the arrangements and Facilities being provided to the tourists coming from within and outside of the UT.                      
 
Jai the Everlasting Green Valley lies on the North East of Bhadarwah town about 32 Kms. away connected to the town via beautiful Bhadarwah-Jai link Road. 
 
 The facility for the adventure lovers and trekkers is also available in the shape of a Youth Hostel which accomodates around 150 guests. Valley is also  connected through Jai-Gundoh Road with a distance of 46 Kms, the road encompasses the beautifull hunting grounds of Bachdhar. The Valley is also being linked to Kahara area through Kahara-Jai Road with a distance of 27 Kms.   
 
While Padri Top or Padri Pass is a hill station situated 41 kilometres North of Bhaderwah on  Bhaderwah–Chamba National Highway.                                        
 
Tehsildar Bhadarwah, Xen BDA, BDO Bhaderwah, Xen 114 RCC GREF, AE BDA,  JE BDA and representatives of other departments accompanied DDC.                        
 
DDC inspected the Jai-Gundoh road and assured that the road shall be completed with black topping as soon as possible so that tourist can explore new beautiful tourist spots along the road to Gundoh.
 
 Xen BDA in brief described the facilities available for stay and amusement of tourists, at Jai. He said that there is Children park constructed by BDA for the enjoyment of children and igloos, huts,  youth hostel and private tented accommodations for peaceful stay of tourists.
 
 He directed the officers of BDA to install a sign board at Jai describing the place and also showing the road distances of roads connecting this beautiful valley. This will help tourists in easy access to the other tourist spots in and around Bhadarwah.             
 
Locals presented a list of demands including power supply and installation of solar lights for this beautiful valley to attract more and tourist even during winter months.                      
 
DDC directed the officers concerned to construct toilet blocks, and upgrade igloos and huts by applying colorful paints and other necessary items. He directed the officers to make sure that the Govt accommodations are made clean and hygienic for healthy stay of the tourist during the pandemic Covid-19.              
 
Tourists from Delhi and other states who were present at Jai called upon DDC and demanded  shops at Jai and other tourist sites where tourist can buy famous items native to Bhadarwah. DDC assured them that their demand will be fulfilled at an earliest.                        
 
Besides Jai valley DDC also paid visit to Padri and Himman park Nalthi and viewed the requirements for betterment of these places for attraction of more and more tourist in the coming years. At Padri DDC inspected the building being constructed by BDA and stressed for its timely completion.
