*DC Doda pays surprise visit at Sub-division Assar.* _Interacted with public and reviewed public delivery system at various offices._

Doda, September 01; Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today paid a surprise visit to Sub division Assar and inspected  government offices. He took first hand assessment of the  public delivery mechanism and availablity of staff.

 

DC visited SDM office, Tehsil office, PHC Assar, Higher Secondary School Assar, ZEO office Assar and BDO office at Assar. He Interacted with public and took stock of facilities and mechanism of public grievances redressal system.

 

At tehsil office, office patwari and Junior Assistant were found absent without any sanctioned leave. 

 

 At Zonal Education  Office Assar, ZEO was not present while it was informed that he is having additional charge as ZEO and is posted at HSS Assar as Principal. However at HSS Assar there too ZEO was not available.

 

While inspecting BDO office at Assar, BDO, Programme officer and one helper were found absent unauthorisedly. Staff informed that BDO is on leave, however no such leave was available in the office. The SDM Assar was entrusted to seek explanation of all the absentees and submit action taken report in two days.

 

During his tour of Assar he also went to PHC Assar and met the accident victims which occurred today in which six persons got injured. Out of the six injured two were discharged after giving required treatment while two were referred to GMC Doda and other two have been admitted at PHC Assar. He enquired about the treatment being given to them. He instructed for proper cleanliness in the health centre. DC also checked complaint boxes  installed at various offices and emphasized upon timely disposal and their proper upkeep.

In the meanwhile Block Diwas, was organised at designated places viz Doda, Bhaderwah, Thathri, Assar and Gandoh, observing all SOPs for Covid-19 and taking due care of ceiling on gathering of public.
