*DC Doda visits Bijarni-Lal Draman area, Paid visit to the pristine scenic meadows of Lal Draman to take first hand appraisal of availability of basic amenities* _Directs R&B and PMGSY to the execute works in double shifts on the stretches under their implementation_

The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda,Vikas Sharma conducted a tour to the Bijarni area including Sazan and Lal Draman, wherein the DDC interacted with the locals and elected representatives, listened to their issues, besides took stock of the ongoing work on road leading to Lal Draman.
The DDC directed the R&B Ex En to fastrack the work on their stretch of around 9km by mobilising the contractor and men and machinery so that the road is completed during the ongoing working season, besides asked to rigorously follow up the forest clearance with the concerned authorities. Both the projects under CRF and languishing projects were directed to be completed in time.
With regard to Bijarni road the DDC asked the PMGSY department to ensure that the leftout stretch surveyed by the Defence agency in the past,be taken up after immediate remaining work.
Meanwhile, the DDC also visited the Lal Draman which is a scenic toursit destination, to take the first hand appraisal of the availability of basic amenities which include availability of water, network facility and accomodation.
The DDC after thorough inspection assured the locals that water supply to the destination will be taken up on priority basis with the concerned department, besides asked the RDD Officials to ensure the desilting of pond which is located in middle of the meadows with immediate effect.
The locals raised various demands with regard to non availability of staff in health institutions, poor mobile network connectivity, besides other issues for which the DDC paid patient hearing and assured time bound disposal of their respective grievances in coordination with the concerned authorities.
Among others Tehsildar Bhagwah Daljit Parihar, Ex En PWD Er Ayub Wani, besides other officials and prominent citizens including public representatives accompanied the DDC.
