District COVID Cell Doda visits Medical Block Gandoh Review ongoing pace of COVID vaccination drive Hold awareness session on COVID Vaccination at GHSS Kilhotran on Teachers Day

On the direction of Deputy Commssioner Doda Sh Vikas Sharma (KAS)  and Chief Medical Officer Doda, the District COVID-19 Cell team from Doda visited Medical Block Gandoh to review the pace of ongoing COVID-19 Vaccination drive and COVID management in the block. 

 

During their visit, the team interacted with the staff of PHC Changa with regard to COVID Vaccination. 

 

While focusing on the ongoing vaccination drive, the team after reviewing the block data entrusted upon the staff to cover all the left out population of target group and ensure 100% vaccination coverage besides stress was also laid on to cover all the 2nd dose due beneficiaries so that all of them would be fully vaccinated in order to achieve the set targets. The team further advised the concerned ZMOs to ensure timely uploading of the data related to COVID testing and Vaccination on the portals. 

 

Moreover, the team advised the health staff to remain extra careful by ensuring that people should strictly follow the COVID Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) in letter and spirit. 

 

Meanwhile, the District COVID Cell Doda team also attended a programme held at GHSS Kilhotran Bhalessa on the eve of Teachers Day where teachers and students of the area were present. 

 

The team generated mass awareness on this occasion among teachers and students about the COVID-19 pandemic and special focus was laid on importance of COVID Vaccination where they have been appealed to get all left out vaccinated as soon as possible. The COVID Cell team while holding counselling and awareness session on this occasion, appealed the all the HOIs, Teachers and Students present there to get inoculated with anti COVID vaccine shots at an earliest. 

 

Later on, the school management thanked the Distt. Administration and Health Deptt for conducting awareness session on COVID-19 Vaccination in their area. 

 

Those from Distt COVID Cell Doda were District Epidemiologist Umar Anayat Khan, BMEO NHM Mashhood Latif and Distt Media Coordinator Health Deptt. Faizan A Tramboo whereas Medical Officer Dr Feroz Ahmed, Dr Seema Sehar from PHC Changa were also present on the occasion.
