_Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav_ *Swatchta Pledge marks the Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi across Doda* _DDC administered pledge to the officials at Gandoh,All Govt offices observed Swatchta Pledge in the district, cleanliness drives initiated in various public offices to mark the birthday celebrations_

Celebrating the Birthday of the Father of the Nation Mahtama Gandhi, today Swatchta Pledge has been taken in all the offices of the district.

 

District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda, Vikas Sharma, administered pledge to the officers, staff members and locals including PRI members at Gandoh, besides ADC Doda Dr R K Bharti administered pledge to the staff members of the DC office.

 

While speaking on the occasion DDC extended greetings to the general public of the district on the birth anniversary of the Mahtama Gandhi, besides said that Cleanliness has always remained part of our culture, and urged the general public to make collective efforts to ensure cleanliness in and around their respective localities.

 

He said that all of us should take this responsibility to make our surroundings clean by taking Swatchta Pledge and shall contribute to the Swatch Bharat Abhiyan.

 

Similar kind of events were also organised in all the public offices, besides cleanliness drive were also carried out to mark the day.
