The District Administration Doda has restarted the conduct of Block Diwas for redressal of public grievances  in Doda district which witnessed participation of locals from various areas of the District by following the Covid-19 guidelines in letter and spirit.
 
In this regard on the direction of higher authorities,today a special Block Diwas program was again conducted in the entire district on the designated locations. The entire program was held under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Vikas Sharma.
 
Block events were held at designated locations, where the teams of Different departments along with the frontline field functionaries  delivered varied service to the people and listened to their grievances.
 
Large number of grievances/applications were recieved during the program,out of which maximum were redressed by the officer’s/officials of respective departments on spot on priority basis, besides several services which includes category certificates, Domicile certificates,  different revenue papers were provided to the people on spot.
 
The DC Doda also took part in the proceedings of Block Diwas here at Tehsil office Doda wherein he has handed over the various Certificates among the beneficiaries.
 
Speaking on the occasion the DC directed the concerned to resolve the grievances raised by the general public with utmost priority, besides asked them to issue the income certificates/ other certificates to the students and old age persons on fastrack basis so that they shall get the benefits of the schemes rolled out for them.
 
The ADC Doda, ACD Doda, Tehsildar Doda were also present during the program.
 
Besides all the concerned Officers attended the block diwas to take the appraisal about the grievances raised by the people and services being provided to them during the program at designated locations.
