*Awareness programme on right of transgenders held at District and Tehsil headquarter of District Doda*

Doda, October 06;  An awareness programme under “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav ” and as per plan of action, DLSA Bhaderwah today organized awareness programme on the rights of  transgenders through physical and virtual mode . The said programme is organized and hosted by Secretary DLSA Bhaderwah and Resourse person of the programme was Advocate  Mr. Vikrant Mahajan. In the said programme District Social welfare Doda, Mr. Zubair Ahmed, social welfare officer Thathri and Bhaderwah , Mr. Subesh Chander, Tehsil, Social welfare officer Sunita choudhary ,along with 10 identified transgenders of District Doda were present and were awarded virtually. In the said programme transgenders were awared about the protection of rights of transgenders and pension to transgenders and about free legal aid to the transgenders by Secretary  DLSA Bhaderewah resource person and Tehsil Social welfare officer Bhaderwah. The said programme is organized under the supervision and guidance of Hon’ble Chairman DLSA Bhaderwah( Hon’ble  principal District session judge Bhaderwah.
