*DC Doda discusses arrangements for celebration of iconic week festival to be held at Bhaderwah* _Directs all concerned to work in tandem for grand success of the mega event_

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda,Vikas Sharma today chaired meeting of all concerned Officers/Officials hera at DC office Doda to discuss the arrangements for celebration of the forthcoming Iconic Week festival.

 

It has been informed that the mega event is being organised under Azadi Ka Amrut Mahatasav and scheduled to be held on 26th & 29th of October at Bhaderwah in which complete illumination kiosk(cultural nights) and Musical carnival will be organised.

 

During the meeting threadbare discussion was held with regard to the finalisation of venue, decoration of stage, safety and security measures, traffic management, parking facility, list of invitees, lodging of VVIPs, Artists, besides availability of other essential services on the scheduled days and dates.

 

The DC directed ADC Bhaderwah to call a separate meeting of all the concerned Officers today itself to discuss the series of events in comprehensive manner, besides to select the venue in coordination with the nodal departments by tommorrow positively, so that arrangements shall be finalized at an earliest and shall be put in place well in advance.

 

The DC has also directed the concerned to have a alternative plan for the celebration of iconic week festival in case of bad weather conditions on the schedule days, besides asked them to work in coordination for the grand success of the mega event.

 

The meeting was attended by ADC Bhaderwah Rakesh Kumar, ASP Bhaderwah Abdul Qayoom, CPO Doda Parshotam Kumar, DFO Bhaderwah Chander Shekhar, DIO Doda Mohd Ashraf Wani,Ex En PWD Bhaderwah Jawad Ul Hassan Kraipak, Ex PDD Doda, EO MC Bhaderwah Yousuf Ul Umar, BDO Bhaderwah, besides other officials of BDA and Tourism department.
