Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Doda organized an awareness camp at Roat Marmat today.
The camp was organized under the guidance of CAO Doda Anil Gupta and overall supervision of Director Agriculture Jammu Sh. K K Sharma .
About 30 farmers of Roat and its adjoining areas participated in the Camp. District level Subject matter Specialist Dr Ajay Sharma presided over the programme.
Speaking on the occasion he gave a detailed lecture regarding the different schemes run by the Department.He advised the farmers to go for organic farming as it can prove beneficial in a long way.He also answered the different quiries raised by farmers.
SDAO PRANOO Kuldeep also spoke on the occasion and gave a brief regarding schemes run in the area.He assured to fulfill the different demands raised on the occasion. Sarpanch Roat Mohd Sadiq was also present on the occasion.He also spoke on the occasion and appreciated the Department for organizing the event in his Panchayat.He also demanded the timely supply of seeds.
Among others AEO Khalid Munshi,AEA Mushroom Wasim Raja,Sajad Mir,Pawan Katoch,Sumit Baloon,Jatinder Verma and Amit Gupta were present on the occasion.
