*Public outreach medical camp organised by Department of Community Medicine GMC Doda at Bheli*

Doda, October 07, As a part of general awareness and public outreach programme of GMC Doda a free medical health camp was held on  the direction of HOD Community Medicines Dr Suresh Kotwal and under the able guidance of Dr Walied Balwan at village Bheli. The medical camp was organised with the aim to provide quality medical care and free medicines to the poor and needy people of the area.The medical health team of UHTC ghat along with Dr. Mirza Arif Beig (Incharge UHTC Ghat) and Dr. Imran Zaffer ( Incharge ARC GMC Doda) conducted the free medical camp at sub centre Bheli in the presence of Sarpanch Kunj Lal sharma  (Panchayat Uppar Arnora). During the camp total 129 patiens were checked, free consultation along with free medicines were given, Blood sugar test, ophthalmic examination and dental check up facilities were provided to the people. Public of the area have hailed the efforts of GMC Doda and hoped of organising such camps in future also. It is worth mentioning that Community Medicine Department has been organising the camps from long time in order to facilitate the healthcare facilities for the villagers and adjoining areas of Ghat block.
