*ADC Bhadarwah Finalises arrangements for celebration of Diwali festival*

 

  Bhaderwah, November 1; A meeting to finalize the arrangements with regard to celebration of Diwali was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhadarwah Rakash Kumar in his office chambers .

The officers viz. Tehsildar Bhadarwah and Bhalla SDPO Bhadarwah, SHO Bhaderwah, AEE PDD, TSO Bhalla, Naib Tehsildar, Station Officer JKF&ES, representatives from other departments attended the meeting.

 

Issues like Security and other arrangements, uninterrupted electric supply, water supply, available of essential commodities viz. Vegetables/fruits / milk items on approved rates / sanitation of Bhadarwah town were discussed in the meeting.

 

Tehsildar / executive officer MC/TSO were asked to check the market and ensure availability of good quality material on approved rates in the market.

 

The officers of PDD  were also requested to ensure unintrupted electricity during the on going festival of Diwali. Police department was directed to ensure proper security arrangements and Traffic management in the area.

 

Besides concerned officers were directed to implement the Covid-19 appropriate behaviour during the ensuing festival. The officers were also directed to implement the Hon’ble Supreme Courts Directions regarding manufacturing, sale and use of banned fire crackers and adherence to timing of bursting of permitted/ improved green crackers. Further directed to ensure the implementation of various orders of Green Tribunal in this regard.
