*DC Doda chairs meeting of key Revenue Officials, stresses to ensure that all essential revenue documents are uploaded on the portal* _Directs to conduct extensive anti encroachment drives across the district to discourage illegal encroachment_

Doda, November 13:

Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today chaired the meeting of key officials of revenue department here at DC office to review the progress of various key indicators of the department.

 

During the meeting threadbare discussion was held regarding certification of missing revenue record, scanning of revenue documents, digitisation of land records, anti encroachment drives, IEC activity on “Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani”, Updation of Jamabandis, besides other important revenue issues were discussed in detail.

 

With regard to the submission of compliance report of missing revenue documents and for giving the certificate that no record is pending for scanning or yet not submitted for scanning at Tehsildar level as per the prescribed format, the DC directed all the controlling heads and Tehsildars to submit the same by or before coming Monday on priority basis, so that it shall be submitted to the higher authorities.

 

Similarly regarding the record updation village wise on the portal and recently launched IEC campaign (Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani), the DC directed the concerned to ensure all the essential documents have been uploaded on the said portal, also directed to identify the issues pertaining to this, so that they shall be sent to the higher authorities for early redressal and to avoid the inconvenience to the public.  In addition to this asked the Tehsildar HQA to submit the list of issues on daily basis to his office.

 

Moreover regarding the ongoing IEC campaign on Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani mein, the DC asked the ACR to frame a list of locations covering all the villages so that maximum number of people can be covered in the demonstration camps which shall be held on each Wednesday and Saturday, besides asked the revenue authorities to designate a room in their  respective  office complexes exclusively for this so that on daily basis these IEC activities shall be carried out.

 

With regard to anti encroachment drives the DC directed all the  revenue Officers to ensure that these drives shall become a routine affair in their respective areas, besides asked the digitisation teams to expedite the quality check of scanned record by way if mobilising additional staff at their disposal.

 

The meeting was attended by ADC Doda, ADC Bhaderwah, ACR Doda, ACD Doda, AC Panchayats, SDMs, besides all Tehsildars were also present.
