*DC Doda discusses modalities for formally naming Govt Institutions/ Assets on the name of Martyrs, Eminent personalities* _Says it is the encouraging initiative by UT Govt to honour the Martyrs, Eminent personalities, requires to be conducted in grandband & dignified manner_

Deputy Commissioner Doda,Vikas Sharma, today chaired the meeting of various stakeholders and heads of the  institutions to discuss the preparations to hold the grand launch of the names of Govt institutions and assets on  the names of the Martyrs, Eminent personalities in the district, recently declared by the UT Govt few days back.
While speaking during the meeting the DC said that it is the encouraging  initiative by the UT Govt of J&K to lay down the names of the Govt institutions on the name of Martyrs and eminent  personalities as a mark of respect and honour, in addition to this said that in the first instance four institutions of our districts are named after the Martyrs and gallantry awards holders.
In this regard the DC directed the Officials to start the preparations for the grand launching ceremony of these institutions with great honour and respect, besides asked the CPO to direct the DPO Doda to arrange the things at all these venues in coordination with SDM and concerned Tehsildars for the smooth conduct of the program for which the date shall be notified separately.
Moreover the DC asked to invite all the PRI members which includes Panches, Sarpanches, BDC Chairpersons, DDC members on the occasion, besides said that the Chief Guest on the occasion will be family members of the Martyrs to give them respect and honour and to make them feel special and proud on the occasion.
Further the DC asked the planning section to get the list of Martyrs, Eminent personalities scrutinized in minute manner by the concerned stakeholders so that next list shall be kept in readiness for further course of action.
The meeting was attended by ASP Bhaderwah, CPO Doda, DIO Doda, CEO Doda, Principal GDC Kastigarh, besides other officials of Army and other institutions.
