DC Doda reviews progress of District Capex and other schemes of RDD* _Directs to expedite the tendering of pending works, allotment of tendered works, Also asked to ensure timely payment of wages in MGNREGA_

Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today chaired a meeting of key officials of RDD and REW here in the DC office to review the latest update about District Capex and other schemes under implementation of RDD.

 

During the meeting threadbare discussions were held with regard to the status of updation of Village sanitation plan, capacity building of PRI members, solarisation of panchayat ghars, achievement under MGNREGA, District Capex and B2V-3 scheme.

 

While reviewing the status of updation of Village sanitation plan it was apprised to the DC that village sanitation Committees have been framed and updation of plan is ongoing, till now plan against 351 Villages stand updated and rest is ongoing.

 

The DC directed the DPO to expedite the updation, besides asked to submit the exact data about the number of villages against which the plan has to be updated, in addition to this also directed the concerned to update error free and accurate data on the portal.

 

With regard to capacity building programme of PRI members the DC has been informed that first phase had been completed at five locations and rest 5 phases will be completed till March 2021 while the second phase is going to start in the mid November.

 

In this regard the DC directed the concerned to ensure that the training program shall be result oriented, besides near by locations shall be selected for the forthcoming phases keeping in view of the convenience of PRI members.

 

For solarisation of panchayat ghars the DC directed the ACD to get the preliminary exercise done with regard to the availability of space in the panchayat ghars so that at the time of installation there shall be no problem.

 

While reviewing the key indicators of MGNREGA the DC directed the ACD to ensure optimal performance during this peak season, besides seeks explaination from the low performing BDOs in the indicator of timely payments.

 

For PMAY (G), the DC asked the nodal department to expedite the completion of all the pending houses, besides asked the ACD to submit the list of low performing field functionaries Panchayat wise so that strict action shall be initiated against them for showing low performance in the PMAY completion.

 

With regard to District Capex the DC asked the REW to expedite the tendering of all pending works, besides asked them to mobilise the teams exculsive for B2V-3 who shall work separately for the tendering of the B2V-3 works and asked ACD Doda to monitor the same in daily basis.

 

The meeting was attended by CPO Doda, ACD Doda, ACP Doda, Ex REW besides other concerned officials of rural development department.
